My dad who passed away is in a car that’s locked and I am screaming trying to get his attention banging on the windows and he can’t see nor hear me. Once I realized he didnt hear me I turned around and I was in a line up of people and someone on a stage asked who’s first. I looked around and without hesitation I said I will. I turn around leaned backwards till the back of my head touched the stage and a sledge hammer came slamming down on my face. That’s when I woke up
Dreams can often be reflective of our emotions, fears, and feelings, rather than literal events. The presence of your deceased father in the dream may represent unresolved emotions or a longing for connection with him. The feeling of being unable to communicate with him through the car window could symbolize a sense of helplessness or a feeling of disconnection.
The second part of the dream, where you are in a line and willingly take the first position, could suggest a sense of agency or a desire to take control of a situation. However, the violent act of the sledgehammer hitting your face could symbolize feelings of self-sabotage, self-criticism, or a fear of confrontation.
Overall, this dream may be reflecting feelings of loss, helplessness, a desire for connection, a need for control, and potentially self-destructive tendencies. It could be helpful to explore these emotions further in waking life and consider seeking support or counseling if needed to process these feelings.
